About Us
Skyline Families Aid Foundation
Who We Are
Every year hundreds of families are affected by adverse conditions and situations that require help and support. Many of these families turn to the Skyline Families Aid Foundation for their support. Skyline Families Aid Foundation provides support for the Relief of Poverty, Promotion of Health, Substance Abuse, Employment Training, and Low Cost Housing. But who are we . . . really?
I guess the best way to sum it up is with this: "Some folks see things as they are and ask why. We see things that never were and ask. . . why not"?
What We Do
At the Skyline Families Aid Foundation we help folks in need. We start with an introductory application to obtain basic information and assess what types of needs are required and how much support is needed. From there we develop a program specifically designed for the family in need. Continous and periodic assessments are undertaken to ensure the needs are fulfilled and the support is appropriate. We maintain flexibility in our program because we understand that families are very dynamic and situations are continuously changing. We meet our goals at each step and the final step always ends with a hug and a few tears. Its sometimes sad to see families go, but knowing they have reached all their goals and are prepared to spread their wings again is always a special moment.
Where We Provide Support
Our Head Office is located in Hamilton, Ontario. This is where we first established our contributions. We are equipped to provide support and assistance to any family in Ontario. It is our goal to provide support and assistance across Canada and "change the game" on how well and how many families can receive essential support.
When Can We Help
Our office hours are between 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Saturdays between 8:30am and Noon. We are also available 24 hours per day online, by fax, email and telephone for urgent and emergency responses.
Why are we helping
We believe in the sharing of kindness. The world is a beautiful place and by sharing in kindness, each of us can bring light to the beauty that surrounds us all. Being in need can sometimes make a person feel alone and in the dark. By sharing in kindness, we can share in the light and shine brightly for others and bring hope and understanding to a situation that might seem hopeless and confusing. Please sharing in the kindness by donating.
